1. Access and Login

  • Q1. How do I log in to the FODE Moodle site?
    Go to https://moodle-151558-0.cloudclusters.net/ and enter your username and password provided by your centre or FODE administration.
  • Q2. What should I do if I forget my password?
    Click on “Forgotten your username or password?” on the login page. Enter your email address or username, and you’ll receive a password reset link. If you don’t receive it, contact your regional IT officer or centre coordinator.
  • Q3. I can’t access the Moodle site. What should I do?
    Check your internet connection first. If the site is still unreachable, try again later — it may be undergoing maintenance. You can also report access issues via support@fode.gov.pg.

2. Courses and Enrolment

  • Q4. How do I find my enrolled courses?
    After logging in, go to your Dashboard → My Courses. You’ll see all the subjects you’re enrolled in.
  • Q5. I can’t see my course after logging in. Why?
    You might not be enrolled yet. Contact your subject teacher or centre coordinator to check your enrolment status.
  • Q6. How do I enrol in a new course?
    Students are enrolled by centre administrators or teachers. If you need a new subject, contact your FODE centre.

3. Assignments and Assessments

  • Q7. How do I submit my assignments online?
    Open the course, click on the assignment activity, then select “Add submission.” Upload your file (PDF, Word, etc.) and click “Submit assignment.”
  • Q8. Can I edit my assignment after submission?
    You can only edit if your teacher has allowed resubmissions. Check the assignment instructions or message your teacher.
  • Q9. How will I know if my assignment is marked?
    You’ll receive a notification in Moodle and can view your grade and feedback under the assignment activity or in Grades → Course.

4. Communication and Support

  • Q10. How can I communicate with my teachers?
    Use the Messaging feature inside Moodle, or post questions in the course forum.
  • Q11. Who do I contact for technical problems?
    Send an email to support@fode.gov.pg or report to your centre IT officer with details of the issue (username, screenshot, and course name).

5. Using Moodle on Mobile

  • Q12. Can I access Moodle on my phone?
    Yes. Download the Moodle App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Enter the site address: https://moodle-151558-0.cloudclusters.net/ and log in with your usual credentials.
  • Q13. Do I need data to use the app?
    Yes. The app works online, but once you open course content, you can download materials for offline access.

6. General Information

  • Q14. What are the study hours for FODE?
    FODE allows flexible study. Students can access materials and submit assessments anytime within the course duration.
  • Q15. How do I update my personal details (email, phone, etc.)?
    Go to Profile → Edit profile to update your details, or contact your centre if changes are locked.
  • Q16. How can teachers add new materials or activities?
    Teachers can “Turn editing on” within a course and use “Add an activity or resource.” For advanced setup, contact the site administrator.
